Kris Leisman's Silver '99 2.5GT

3rd pwnr of this thing, first guy had it until '06, second guy had it for exactly three weeks, and here it is. Its got a few dents and scratches but nothing too major. Interior is perfect but one scratch near the wheel and a cig burn on the seat (you damn smokers).

Right after I bought it I put Injen CAI, PIAA fog bulbs, silverstar headlight bulbs, painted the calipers red, and stuck on SPT exhaust.

Still trying to decide what to do engine-wise, AVO turbo kit looks delicious but there's no point if the engine and or A/T is going to explode like Krypton.

Not sure, original haggling was abstracted by dealer fees, and after talking to the douche sales person for 45 minutes about why I didn't want the damn engine warranty I completely forgot why I was there in the first place.
Somewhere in the 9k range...
Not a huge fan of decals on cars, but I may stick some in the engine bay or on my computer or something

It was the only one posted for sale anywhere in Indiana at the time. I know because it took me almost three years to track one down...
We had negotiated them down to 8k, then they slapped on some bogus dealer fees after jacking us around for almost two months, my parents said fuck it and it ended up in the driveway anyway

Cool, a few of my friends are up there. I stayed back near home, I go to USI. Not my first choice, but I couldn't afford to go to my first choice:)

Wow that's really nice. I'm getting a pair of those headlights asap, I had some lined up but didn't get a chance to purchase 'em. Gonna eventually mod my grille to look like that but with the subaru logo, I'm even getting similar wheels to those

Thanks. I have 18x8 prodrives and my winter wheels are 17" WRX wheels. I also have a JDM front bumper not installed yet with projectors fogs to complte the front JDM look. :wink:

From where? I went from Evansville to Indianapolis (about three hours) to pick mine up. Also drove to Kentucky and Illinois looking for one, found nothing.

Just got my interior painted...painted the center bezels and the "wood" pieces all black. I'll add some pics when I can steal a camera...

Yeah none of that crap happened DAMN it's been a while since I've been on here, but I did get a Stromung I pipe, a single 10" powerbass with california amp, and some little things here and there like an SPT battery tie (replacing one that nearly rusted in half).

As of 8AM this morning I officially got my headlight housings painted black along with parts of the bumper and the grille.

I used a nice Blue Point heat gun, SEM trim black (I suggest it for metal but it worked fine), a buttload of screwdrivers and clamps, and plenty of August Burns Red's new album Constellations, which is at local retailers near you.
Go buy that album and hack up your headlights, kids!

The main reason I painted the bumper is because the previous owner liked to run into things with it, presumably because he or she was a moron, and because said collisions eventually ruptured the battery (my guess, but the fenders are clearly shifted like it was slapped into from the side at one point) which then poured over my driver's side fog light, and devoured all of the paint under the battery box and around said foglight...I resolved to paint it in a way to hide the worst parts of it.

I painted around the fog light inlet so it has those weird forks on both of them...I think they look very boarder line rice but for comparison:

If you notice, the front bumper cover is awful and needs to be replaced, this is just a temp fix until I can track down a nice, pretty Japanese one, much like the girls I dated in college so far.
