hey guys, i finally had the chance to pick up one of my favorite bodystyle subaru has ever created! i picked her up last night and i am very excited on whats to come. shes a 95 legacy L in white. shes quite stock and would probably stay stock (powerwise) since shes my daily driver. i also own a gc8 impreza (track/fun car) and im mostly on rs25.com. im looking forward on some nice things done to my daily driver and hopefully my stay here would be very pleasant and aquire alot of knowledge about compatibility of parts etc.concerning these cars.... been reading the 101 sub forum alot.

future plans for the leggy-nothing major:

full lgt look (bumper, hood, jdm tails.etc)
drop
sti catback
some nice wheels (maybe some nt03's in white)

so yeah......

Make a list of parts you are looking for and place it in the WTB forums. Some people have things and don't bother or have the time to list things. Some people may help you out and look for things too.

There's lots of stuff out there, it's just not that easy to find.

As far as Nazicock - the Legacy forum (and it has its own classifieds) is very nice, much like here, with many of the same players, so don't let the reputation make you avoid that part of it.

Welcome to the site! Upgrades, just like any subaru, are easy to source off of higher end models. WRX front brakes and H6 rear brakes. Outback rear swaybar (18mm vs your 13mm L swaybar). Seat swaps and such are easy. Exterior mods are a snap. There's lots of different style JDM bumpers too, so don't be afraid to look on ebay, because the japanese definitely got the best stuff.

Oh, and white wheels rock! Though I am a little partial... By the way, the very first mod, no matter what anyone says to the contrary should be JDM headlights or an HID upgrade. The JDM headlights put out such better, crisper, more intense light it's scary that the US flashlights were ever mounted on these cars.

haha.. yes i agree.. the headlights kinda suck. i would love to get the jdm headlights for sure. but as of right now.. my stock cassete tape deck aint cutting it so i need to do something about that too..lol

but since my friend has a stock sti catback laying around.. thatll be the 1st mod.

I cant see how some let the lights cloud over and turn yellow.

They don't know how to fix it? I gotta say, the idea of sanding my headlights really freaked me out at first, too. But the results are amazing.
