98 outback hood w/scoop on 95 legacy L?

i found a hood at a yard 2 hours away from me and i was planning on putting the outback hood on and selling them my stock one..

i guess my question is, it should bolt right up and clear the grill/headlights etc. right? ive tried to search and i didnt see solid info about this certian situation im gona have to be dealing with. last thing i need is to make a worthless 4 hour trip still scoopless :-(

can anyone chime in?

yeah..got lucky, this yard wanted 175 for the hood in perfect condition then i asked them if i gave them my hood how much would they credit me for.. they said theyll gimme the hood for 115. :grin:
