Has anyone ever seen a 99 Limited GT Maroon with red leather??? Personally I think I only seen them in Black and white.

The red leather sounds interesting, though not if the car is maroon (black would be niiice).

Looking at the gray rear deck I think someone had the seats done. But still doesn't explain the maroon limited.

hmm the door cards dont look right dont look the the leathers at all. plus red and gray interior doesnt match at all

That's just some modifications. I don't think the 30th anniversary editions had red leather.

My 30th anniversary has black... my other one i had was black as well.. looks like someone had the seats done and matched the door cards..who knows.

Not to cause more confusion on the subject... but.

-About a month ago I was at Starbucks parked next to an Outback (BG). It was the same color as mine (Ruby Mica), and it had a matching deep red interior. The door cards and the F&R seats all matched perfectly. The front seats were also embroidered "Outback", in a sort of italic Australian Outback looking font lol. Unfortunately the digital camera was at home. It was auto and IIRC a '97

Did any Japanese models come with red seats/door cards? They could have bought those and swapped them in.

I really think it's a re-upholstery job though.

I keep seeing a 2000 legacy L BE with red leather and the car is white ,and the door cards match. I asked the girl who drives it and she said it was her mothers car and doesn't know anything. But I saw a Leggy with red leather other than the 06' SpecB. So somwhere Subaru has put red leather in 04' and down subaru Legacys and Foresters. and I want to swap it out. So if anyone knows any info please let me know cause I was about to offer the girl my black leather seats for hers.

They are Mos Def re done i have i 99 limited GT in the Purple/Black color( i hate the word maroon) and it comes with BLACK leather not red. Also the door cards are not smooth they are sort of ruffled.

What?

He means the stock door cards have creases, which look like folds in them, not smooth like what is pictured. That was exactly what I thought when I saw the pictures.

Well the thread was more abut a maroon Limited. You can tell the seats have been done. I only seen Black, White and Silver Limiteds.

Well I'm talking about Limited GT's. Now that I think of it I think I seen a red Limited GT on here.

1998 GT Limited: Granite Pearl Black, White, Rio Red
1999 GT Limited: Granite Pearl Black, White, Silver, Rio Red

According to Cars101.com there were no other Limiteds; with the exception of the Outback Limited.

I am 100% sure that what people are seeing is some kind of owner-rebadging + owner-aftermarket interior reupholstery.

All Subaru factory doorcards with leather have the "ruffles" in them.

Thats whats funny, I never looks at the bottom half of the car. lol It is a black granite with red done red leather. Ok thats enough of this thread.... Mystery solved :smt023
