I always wanted to get a subaru so i did. I just bought a 2001 Legacy GT Limited, and im wondering if i get rims will they rub. Im looking a set that are 17x8 5x100 bolt pattern and +46 offset. is this a good idea or now? i will also be getting JIC coilovers for the car. Any help that you guys could provide would be great. Thank you!

They should be fine, depending on the tire width you go with. Too wide, and you'll have to make adjustments.

How much bigger than stock is that?
stock on ours is 205 55 16... I'm running a 17x8.5 +35 with 215 45 17 slammed on tein flex and I'm fine... I think you should be ok.

My wagon with stock sized tires, on +46 offset, rubbed in the back. A sedan has larger fender clearance in the back, so you might get away with slight rub.

It's also a completely different model to you. BE sedan.
yeah, the BE/BH fender wells have a lot more clearance... and actually in reverse to earlier models, the wagons have more room than the sedans... at least from what I can tell.
