Help - want custom BE grille - body color/bronze Subie logo

Hey gang -

I have a maroon '03 Legacy BE sedan with tan leather interior. In order to play on the maroon/tan combination I bought some of the '05 WRX bronze rims. I'm planning on debadging the rear to get rid of the chrome back there. That just leaves me with the grille....

Ideally, I'd like a body color (maroon) grille with a Subaru logo in the center. I'd like the stars in the Subie logo to be gold/bronze tint instead of silver. Does anyone make anything remotely like this?

Here is the car/grille now - I don't have the bronze rims on it yet.

Example - this grille is almost exactly what I want - too bad it's for an '05+. I like that it's body color, just want a Subie logo with bronze stars instead of silver.

I've seen this grille on ebay alot, but I'm not sure how good the quality is or how I'd attach a Subie logo.

The grille badge will just pop off if you heat it up and push it off from the back. you can also use a small drill and drill the back out, remove it that way.

After that, you just have to paint the emblem how you want - nail polish works well. Reattach with some 3M emblem adhesive, good to go.

As for painting the rest, a bodyshop could mix up a paintcan to match, or just do it all for you.

Aftermarket grills - normally they're fiberglass, which is fine most of the time except in extreme cold - eventually they'll break.

Ive been looking at that grill e online also, but i am not sure if it will fit my 97 Legacy GT sedan......can somebody PLEASE enlighten me?
