Did a basic search, and it looks like I'm the only one with this problem. Or, at least, the only one ignorant enough to need to ask what to do about it
Maybe it's from sitting in the dirt for five years, or maybe it's 200K+ miles of use, or maybe it's just friggin old... but for whatever reason my wiper arms aren't holding the blades down tight on the glass. Especially the rear wiper, the outside three inches aren't touching the glass at all (not that that one matters much). Anyway, this is a wicked easy fix on my Mustangs, you don't even need any tools to pop the wiper arm off and replace it. For the life of me, I can't see how to get these ones off. I assume the (very rusted) spring is just shot, is there any way to service these arms? What are my options? The car is a beater, but it would be nice if the wipers worked a little better. Right now I'm pretty much relying on RainX.
