okay im alittle new to subarus but recently my car has been acting up, i have multiple issues but the main one is when i accelerate it almost feels like the engine miss fires, but its only for 3 seconds. it usualy happens in first gear accelerating slow. i checked for any vacuum leaks and im gonna check the plugs and fuel pressure tomrorw, maybe i have a fuel problem. does any one have anything other solutions.
another problem, when i turn right it makes a funny thumping noise almost sounds like a wheel bearing but im not sure. and when i hit a bump the same lefft side suspension makes a clicking noise?. any sugestions on that?
thanks!

Plugs, wires, fuel filter, tell your hos to lose some weight.
Also try a grounding kit, made my car run a lot better.

the clicking noise when you're turning left is prolly the cv axle, look and see if the rubber boot is torn and if there is any grease in there, you might need to change that soon if there is not. If it is more like a thumping noise when you're hitting bumps and stuff, you might want to check your inner and outer tie-rod. good luck and let everyone know whatever you find out.

so im pretty sure this sluggishnes was do to moisture, it was only slugish when it was wet out and i do have a real cold air intake down by the bumper, soo its possible. but i still cant figure out the suspension noise, also when i take a sharper right turn the suspension makes a clicking noise, any sugestons on wat that could be?

My Legacy did this when it snowed. I don't believe it's the moisture, but rather the temperature. I did some reading and found a possible problem, the MAF sensor. That was my problem, at least.
You can reset it by disconnecting your battery for about ten to fifteen minutes and after reconnecting it, turn on the car, but DO NOT touch the accelerator until it's up to full running temperature. It'll take ten minutes or more of idling in cold weather.
Hope this works for you. After changing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and a number of other things, this finally worked for me.

10 minutes of idling is bad. This is not good advice.

Is it? I forgot where I read it, possibly here. Either way, it worked for me. The RPMs don't fall down into stalling zone any more.
Edit: Yeah, after reading that, probably not the best suggestion, maybe try it on a warmer day when the car won't take long to warm up. I just know that if you try to use the accelerator while it's still cold after resetting the MAF sensor will get the ratios wrong and put too much fuel in.
