As some of you may or may not know, I'm running undersized tires on the baja right now. They're Kumho SPT's and I don't think I could sell them for very much coin, so they'll likely be my autocross only tires since my gas mileage sucks with them.

My question is this: They are undersized in height only by about 10%--they're from a 2005 LGT. I'll be running in SM, can I used undersized tires? My copy of the 2008 SCCA rulebook hasn't given me a clear answer.

You're fine, you'd be faster if you had kept the RS2s though

haha, the rs2's were only 205mm width. On a car with 600lbs more weight....I think I need at least the stock 225's. As it is, my Kumhos are 235.

I miss them though. They were my favorite tires...ever. They even looked badass.

Yeah, you should be fine in SM. I'll be running 215/45/16's this season, let us know how the smaller diameter works out for you.
