i have a 2000 outback with the 2-tone black body and gold cladding. i wanted to pint the cladding black to match the car. does anyone have any pics of this done? does it look good? should i do it? thanx for the help.

Solid black would look awesome. I'm planning on converting my 2-tone red/silver baja to all red.

There aren't really any 'kits' for the outback's lower body, because it's different from the legacies. However, lowering the car would give you the same effect and probably better handling.

legacy is same as outback, so kits will fit my car. kits for urs, on the other hand, are very hard to find. all red would be good.

Full bumper replacements would fit you car yes, but lips will not fit. Sorry, I should have clarified.

The silver half of my car is almost a factory widebody anyway, I don't really need anymore kit :-D.
