What are the part numbers on those clutch components? I went to the ACT and Exedy websites and they had absolutely nothing for the 2.2L...

well first i got the clutch off ebay and it is the same clutch as the manual 2.5s except the clutch disk is 5mm wider so you have have the flywheel resurfacesd or buy a new one. all the rest of the stuff is the same everything. to ansewr the engine replace ment im not its the same engine with 126000 miles on it nothing happned to it so im just cleaning up the motor making it look nice. with new headgaskets from cometic and arp studs. and the final questions to answer is that ive only got about 1500 dollars in it all done by myself made every thing and rebuilt everything. so yea thanks for all the complements

^ really so the 2.5 clutch works just fine with the 2.2 cable trans.... interesting, this opens up options for 2.2 guys greatly...

and yea nabisco confirms that this works just fine...

Good idea on the gauge cluster down by the shifter. That pocket used to just collect junk in my BD if it was empty.

+1 Reminds me of the old setup I had on my MK2 golf. Nice touch.

yea i took me like 3 hours to figure what i wanted to do with my gauges, now just need to find out how to get all the slop out of my shifter and to cut it down or some thing ive done it before just dont know how it will feel being 2 inches lower (cheap shortshifter)
