Fog lights with corner lights

Anyone know how I can wire my foglights to turn on with my corner lights?

is it relayed or just fused? you could wire them up to your tail light fuse or find the parking light wire in the harness

wiring to the corner lights i dont think would deliver enough power for 35watt h3's. you wouldnt have a switch for it unless you like long wiring. heres what i would do get a relay wire it to the low beam wire in the harness, wire to a switch then to the relay. then have the main power to the battery (around a 10amp fuse for 35watt bulbs). wire to relay then to the fogs. ground the fogs. this way will give you a stock setup to having the fogs on only during the low beams

That whole system you described is how the stock system works. Theres no point in doing it yourself unless theres some upgrades.

This thread on scoobymods details how to change the stock system for an impreza, but I imagine it would be decently similar and get you looking in the right direction. Either way, buy a multimeter if you plan on messing around with electrical.

Hi decke48, They already turn on with the headlights. As you said I didn't think the corner lights would give me enough power for the fogs. I dunno.

shazapple - I'll take a look at that link. I'm at work and I can't get to scoobymods, but once I get home. I'll check it out.

FWIW, I put a relay near my battery, full 12 volts with a fuse going to the positive terminal, then as my switching source, I splice into my driver side turn signal wire.

^that would work. but fogs with only the corners turned on would look strange.

^^I like it. I don't mind how it looks. Fogs on and corners on. I'll try what "Plays_with_Toys" said. I plan on putting yellow bulbs for my fogs or maybe painting my fogs yellow and getting super white bulbs
