rainy days= bad! help me

hey guys, everytime it rains, my car gets sluggish, i pulled the codes today and this is was i got -

P0100 - MAF Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity
P0101 - Mass Air Flow System Performance
P0120 - Throttle Position [TP] Sensor Circuit
P0121 - Throttle Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
P0130 - HO2S Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0136 - HO2S Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor
P1540 - manf control veh.Spd.

anybody have an idea of what would cause this. likei said it only happens when it rains.

moisture getting into your intake possibly? Does the car drive / idle weird at all?

yah only when its wet out. it will stumble and then eventualy stall out. how would air be geting in there, i have an aftermarket intake and i have a conecter that brings cold air up to it, but i did an experiment and taped it off with clear havey duty tape and looked at it after and it wasnt wet, soo im not sure

i just pulled the codes again to see wheather the other codes got triped by the stalling, and this time i got two,
fuel trim bank 1;
and mass airflow sensor output to low
soo im thinking my maf got wet or something

yeah man, im guessing its your MAF.. when i had a bad MAF.. it would idle all weird normally.. not just when it rained.. however.. the rain may just be making it trip out somehow? Anyone?

yahh im ognna go snag one from the junk yard tomrow and see if that works. can i grab any MAF or does it have to made for my model and engine?

I'm pretty sure you need to get one made for the car.. i mean, that would be the best bet without wasting money. I think any from a 95-99 will work.. im pretty sure. Any of the BD series legacies. Hopefully it works.. seems like sort of a strange problem.

Do you have a open hood scoop? Water could be getting your knock sensor wet. Usually happens if the knock sensor has a crack in it.

maybe. but wouldnt i be geting a knock sensor trouble code?

Clear the codes and see what you get next time. When it rained I got knock sensor code and misfire (open hood scoop) and I know my knock sensor was bad, you could see the crack.

if your getting codes for a maf and tps. and the are both bad the car would only run for short periods. sence it wouldnt be able to get a fuel ratio
a fuel trim bank 1 code means more air is getting into the engine after the maf
any maf 95-99 will work 2.2 or 2.5. but a maf is probally the first step.

well its only when its wet, it runs fine when they are dry but still alittle iffy soemtimes. but im gonna snag a MAF tomrow and start from there

aight today i cleared all the codes and the car runs absolutely fine. soo maybe they were triggerd once from moist air and then the ecu kept those settings? ahaha.
