So I'm kinda over leather. Never really liked the leather appeal. I want a set of front and rear seats for my 98 GT LIMITED BD. I'd like a black clothe seats. Something kinda sporty. Maybe from a RS or WRX. I need to know what front and back seats will fit in my car. I really don't want to have to do a whole hell of a lot of mod. Thanks!!


RS- year to year
WRX- year to year
STI- year to year

P.S. If theres a previous post concerning this you can give me shit, haha :lol:

STI WRX and RS items will bolt in - front seats anyway. They may sit a bit higher. The 02-03 WRX seats have more bolster in them than the 04-05 seats.

I have USDM STi seats in my wagon. They're alright. I would prefer a more subdued set, but they are plenty comfy on 3hr drives.

Back seats are another matter - they do not fit perfectly, but they will go in. You will have some gaps, most noticeably around the top of the rear seat.

So nearly any year of those model seats pretty much bolt in. Cool. I was looking at the later model RS seats. The set I saw on ebay were "04" RS seats. What model seats come equiped with that lever that raises and lowers our seats that are found on our stock Legacy seats ( Not a big deal).

STI seats might attract too much attention to my car. Do they make sti seats without the blue? That might be tempting.

In reference to back seat gap. Is the gap where the seat portion meets the back rest or where the back rest meets the rear window?
