Newbie from New York (Capital District)

Hello folks!

I've been lurking for a few weeks, and now that I've finally gotten my Subaru I've decided to introduce myself.

My name is John and I have a 1998 Legacy GT Limited. Its black (unless you get close on a sunny day, then it looks kind of like a dark black cherry) and an automatic (my wife needs to drive it too sometimes). I'll post some photos later on, but its stock right now so there's not much to see. I'll be slowly adding some mods as time goes on, but my first goal is to build a CarPC for it (I'm more computer geek than Gearhead - but I'm learning).

p.s. Do any of you know a good method for taking off the dealership sticker? I didn't think to ask them not to put it on until after I bought it.

-Heat gun/ hair dryer and some Goo gone (@autozone) to take the sticky residue off, or just use some de-natured(sp?) alcohol.

I think it was someone in NASIOC that did this mod, but it might give a base to work off of. Im not a member there or know who it is. I avoid NASOIC because I hear they are mean over there from a NASOIC member that I work with.

This forum is awesome for Legacy and almost anything subaru. Never had to go to NASOIC.
