Hi all, want to start by saying this site rocks! I have learned so much buy just reading around. Thanks for your knowledge. I always say the best knowledge is from someone that has already delt with the problem.
I just aquired a 98 Legacy GT, 147k miles, O YEAH BEST PART IS.... I GOT IT FOR FREE. Kinda a long process but my friend got back from a deployment and didnt need it anymore, so he gave it to me. Im stoked.
O yeah same day i got FREE WRX wheels from my roomate. Wow what a day.
Its a stock GT in great shape, minor dents and dings as to be expected, headgasket was replaced at apx 125k miles, only thing it needs is a CV joint. (Thanks for the posts about replacing the CV joint and Half Shaft)
So there is my intro, time to start posting my questions and pictures.
Im looking to do an STI interior (seats, carpet, blue on doorpanels), struts, springs, outback swaybar, kartboy shifter... due to the miles the only motor work will be an intake and maybe exhaust work. Dont want to push this high miles motor to hard.
Thanks again for all the info.
