OBD2 Adapters

Anyone had any experience with an OBD2 to USB converter? I'm just wondering if the PC programs are really comparable with the regular scan tools.

This is the cheapest adapter I've seen, http://www.obd2crazy.com/ , and they claim that the software is all free.
