My pump is leaking and it's making a mess! It's not crazy leaking but it's sweating fluid out the seals and all over my timing cover and probably swelling those seals as well.

Subaru makes a rebuild kit but I have no idea what would be involved in this process.. has anyone done this? Anything to look out for, tips, tricks??

I need to tackle this ASAP!

This kind of shows how it comes apart:

Also, You have this part of the FSM right?

If not.. there you go.

Hope it helps out a little. Also, if you do decide to do it.. and need some seals.. i might have some.. not sure however.. but I bought the whole engine rebuild kit, and still have some of the seals kickin around... however.. i dont know if they would have included power steering stuff.

I called my Subaru mechanic and he said it can be done but it might be difficult the first time without someone guiding you so he said he can do it for me on Wednesday morning.. yay!
