Another possible BE/BH/BJ suspension thread.

So i was looking around nasioc and saw a guy put new coilovers on his 08 wrx he also had a pic of his rear strut fully assembled and it looked pretty close to what BE/BH/BJ struts look like. Anyone know anything about this fitment? i also looked thruogh to see if any1 was already selling their stock suspension but no luck yet. my main focus on this is, is because if they do bolt in it means 00-04 legacies can finally have sti suspension parts. Any thoughts on this. oh and other thing is i have a set of 05+ LGT springs that im gonna try to fit in about a month from now (just the fronts, rear wont fit for sure.)

The BL/BP LGT has a multi-link rear suspension, similar to your existing BE/BH. The BE's got this suspension first, and it was just a matter of time before the Impreza chassis converted to a multi-link.

I would think that an LGT suspension would bolt up pretty well to the BE - the major concern would be the geometry.

well BL/BP rear springs are a completely different diameter they are way bigger and in no way would fit. the fronts however look somewhat the same.

sybir and myself had this discussion not long ago... another thing about this is the possibility of being able to convert to 5x114.3 using the rear STi setup... we will see...

why would you want to convert to 5x114? to run sti wheels?

better wheel selection in general not to mention the stronger bearings
