Hows it going,

I am new to the forum and about 6 months ago bought a '06 Legacy GT. My wife and I both love the car. It is our second Subaru, I totalled the first one which was a WRX. I enjoy the Legacy so much more. My wife is wanting to lower the car to get rid of the gap in the fenderwell. I have looked online for springs and found some, but I was wondering if I would need to install camber kits as well. And can anyone suggest a spring that will lower the car without making it ride too rough?

Thanks for answering my questions.

Lots of people say the eibach springs are really nice.. those are the ones i was looking into for my BD Series (99 LGT) but they are nearly impossible to find for my year model. However.. for your's they should be easy to find.

Other ones I've heard of that are pretty good are ion performance springs.. lots of good reviews for those as well.

Check out a couple of these links to see what people say about the ions.

There is also H&R springs.. i dont know too much about them. I hear they are definitely more stiff than the eibachs and ion performance springs.

Thanks for the replies, I will check out the springs today. Are they pretty easy to install, or is it better to pay and have some shop do it for me? I have access to a full street rod shop where I can do the work. My bro builds streetrods and has all the lifts and tools that I would ever need. But is it worth doing myself?

If you have a shop, DIY.
