1995 legacy wagon bk

well right now i have a 95 legacy wagon. i like driving hard and im also getting into autocrossing... i want 2 beef up the suspension but i dont know where to order parts from or what parts fit my car from a wrx... any help would be good... also i know this isnt the right section for this but im planning on doing a ej20t swap... im looking for some power out of it... if anyone know some good power upgrades that would be much help thanks

Suspension... If you're autocrossing, what class are you in and what class are you willing to move to? A rear sway bar helps a ton, but it also takes out of stock class instantly.

An outback wagon will bump you up to 18mm rear sway, and it's bolt on.
Other than that - you're looking at installing a whiteline or cusco item.

ok now in that case first what year outback? second if that the case then would i be able 2 order a whiteline sway bar for the 19xx, 20xx outback wagon? also i was looking in the whiteline catalog and didnt see my car the legacy L (Liberty?) BK

Legacy = Liberty.

Any 1995-1999 Outback sway bar will work.

And for auto-x work you should beef up the front sway bar, as well as the endlinks front and rear. PM Reason, he can hook you up with Group A products.

After that, it's all about springs, struts, tires, rear strut brace and brakes (not necessarily in that order)

Oh yeah, dump the spare wheel out of the hatch when you race.

yea im looking 2 do an all around suspension upgrade... right now i have stock struts from a 02 wrx wagon (its an experment we dont even know if it will work will it?).... and as for the rest of the suspension parts will anything from/for a 1995-1999 outback fit mine? IE: front sway bar, shocks, springs, braces, and brakes....

when we auto x its sponcered by bmw so theres a full safety check anything and everything loose must be taken out or tied down

yes full stock WRX assemblies will work

there are alot of options for suspension - your budget and desires for use of the car will help give better advice

would be nice 2 have a chart of what parts are swapable out of what cars.... i would do it myself... i have the time... but i just dont have the knowledge of it lol... is there any car whos parts are directly swapable with mine? this way as time goes on i can shop around for parts

I'm in the same boat as Makipsee. I have a BK wagon (98 gt) and I'm trying to figure out what suspensions are swappable.

Sharky Nrk is saying that wrx stuff is a direct bolt on so does that mean that aftermarket wrx stuff is too? What about STI suspension?

WRX Wagon suspension is swappable, if you have a BK wagon. I think it depends on what part exactly you're looking for, though, I know FSB is swappable.

well i swapped a wrx wagon suspension into mine but heres the problem with the front suspension it looks like it lifted the car and with the rear i cant put a 100 pounds in it with out buttoming out.. does anyone sell wrx springs that r stiffer but dont hinder ride height?

many of the JDM STi options are stiffer but do not do much lowering. there WRX rear springs are softer than the stock leggy bits and the fronts are stiffer.

also at a level ride height the front will "appear" taller due to the fenderwell shapes
