We took in a '96 Outback wagon (2.5, AT, 143k) on trade, and since it's rough it's getting wholesaled, and I am 'borrowing' parts off of it to upgrade and fix my LGT.

As you can see I already took the grille clips, tried for the emblem but cracked it worse than mine already was, and took the weatherstrip at the front of the hood since mine was torn and hanging down over the left headlight.

Was going to paint my window switch bezels, but swapped them instead, gave the Outback an upgrade! Funny how only the driver side switch bezel is truly separate from the switch. Looks MUCH better. I wonder why they thought it would look good for them to be the only woodgrained parts in the interior that year?

Also took the rubber factory mat in the back, it MOSTLY fits my trunk, plus I found a bonus folding 4-way lug wrench!

And the cupholder. Now the Outback has the soda covered sticky one.

I was thinking of the floormats, but they are dirty and say OUTBACK on them, and some other things.....

All in all a good day, considering I finally have two whole clear(er) headlights!

What else should I grab?

I do the same at my job. If I see something good on used car I swap them over.
