Anyone add running lights to thier USDM BD headlights?

While replacing and cleaning mine, I noticed there's a round blank on the back of the headlight, between the sidemarker and low/high beam:

Since the light I was replacing had a good lens and a shattered back housing, I decided to pull it off to save it, and look what I found behind it:

Anyone ever drill a hole and put a bulb in here, JDM style?

I'm on the verge of getting JDMs anyways..... but if I keep the stocks I might if I get bored.
Heh, if my Vic had a spot like that (and I liked having illegal stuff on my car) it'd be a good place to put in strobes.
