Hi we're new

We recently aqquired a 1995 Legacy Estate GT Twin Turbo. Will prob be on here loads for help and tips. :)

We got it from a guy who had no idea about cars in general i think, my wife swapped my fto for it as we have a little on on the way and needed 4 doors rather than two, she still has her fto!

Very new to the subaru as a car in general any hints tips etc would be most helpful!

any guides for changing the oil, fuel filter and spark plugs?

Fuel filter: park the car over night, put towels around the lines, pull it out.

Change oil: little plug on the bottom side of the oil pan, pretty easy job here

Spark plugs: probably will need to pull out the windshield washer reservoir and possibly move/remove some of the intake piping to get access to the plugs. Once you're in there, replace them with some NGK or Denso brand plugs. DO NOT use bosch. You may also want to use a shop vacuum to remove debris in and around the plugs before you remove them, so nothing drops down in the cylinders while changing them out.

I actually removed nothing other than the plug wires when i did mine. Just the socket, a 3" extenstion and a 3/8th ratchet and they came out and went in just fine. Did the passenger side from up top, and the driver's from underneath. it was a tight fit, but if you put the socket and extension on the plug first THEN attach the ratchet you'll make it in.

Don't forget to replace the filter too when changing oil!
