Getting a Bosal Muffler!

so im super excited, im ordering a bosal axle back from mike!, anything i should be aware of before i do the swap! how about sound quality i looked throught the sound bits last night but couldnt find anything!

I love my SPT exhaust.. it puts out the perfect note. Not too loud, but loud enough and you hear the rumble. Perfect in my opinion! If you dont have any gaskets, use something like permatex liquid gasket in the blue squeeze tube (high temp). I absolutely love mine, I think you will like yours as well!

I wouldnt say its just a 'bit' louder than stock.. mine is QUITE a bit louder than stock.. but not too loud. It especially opens up when you get on it. Sounds awesome.

I agree, I liked my SPT for about a week. Then I bought a Borla that was on Gator GT's old MD. That thing sounds unreal.

I liked my SPT untill I felt it was too quiet. I hope Branden can post my new exhaust sound clip up. Bitch is purring now. ^_^

when u install it, make sure u take a wire brush on a drill bit and clean up the mounting flange on your stock midpipe so the gasket fits snuggly. other than that. it is 2 bolts and 3 hangers and DONE

puring? your exhaust doesnt pure. it drowns out the sound of a T rex 5 feet from your face.

also if u want a little bit more rumble get the stromung mid pipe or guy to your local store, and pick up a 2.25" pipe and have your mechanic weld it in. doing so will get rid of the resonator make more of a rumble. on ebay

5ft of t409 stainless 2.25" pipe is 50$ shipped. and you can just give to a local shop and have them weld it up for you. ill have mine done before the big meet.

im selliing my current exhaust. im going borla header, 2.50 id pipe, 2.50 id dynomax cat, to STI Genome muffler.
