Minor part identification *PICS*

So I was doing the snorkusectomy this week, and I found this part in the engine bay next to where the air box lives. Anyone know what it is and or where it goes?

That's a bumpstop for the hood... it bolts to the fender and helps support the hood from resting on metal.

ohh that thing look so familar...

i believe its one of those hood stopper thingie. look around in your engine bay..at around the edges of the fender.
