No instructions eh?

1) Put key in car.

2) Turn Key.

3) Car is now on.

4) Shift to 1st/drive.

5) Push the big pedal on the right to go, left pedal to stop and turn the big round thing to go around corners.

Sorry, that was mean. Welcome. :)

Thank you for those explicit instructions. so.... i need a key you say? :)

BE, not much really, ive been posting in one of the other groups, interior and accessories i think. Main query was what do the two console switches do? one has a snowflake on it and the other has a wiper arc on it.

Also, while im here, what does the little yellow icon mean that comes on the dash when you first switch on (the bulb check) that looks like an open ended rectangle with heat coming off it. It goes out as soon as you start but i just wondered what it meant. It tells you all about it on my sun visor but unfortunately is all in Japanese!

I'm guessing the wiper arc one is heated wiper.

yeah someone else said that but they said there would be an orangey thing under the wiper but i cant see anything. The snowflake one also says 'hold a t' on it and a similar light comes on th edash when u switch it on. if 'power' light is on it puts that one off an dreplaces it with its own so im guessing its a gearbox thing like a snow gear or maybe a diff lock?

If the windshield was ever replaced, they might not have gotten a correct replacement. *shrug*

Ah thought of that too! the glass is the original i think as it still has the japanese sticker at the top. also, when you switch it on you can tell theres a current drain.

Welcome.

In a strange way, I wish I had the same scenario. TT LGT w/ foreign writing

Post pics and model year, as there possibly are others here with the same model as yours.
