Hey guys, m'name seems to be Scott - AKA BFunk AKA Bohemian_Funk AKA "The Cunning Linguist", and I hail from Auburn, WA (about 30 minutes drive from Seattle... unless I'm driving ). I'm kind of a car forum virgin, so be gentle. Nah I kid, though this is the first forum I've registered to for a car that I actually OWN (I kept getting deals for project cars that continuously fell through).
Little background story 'bout ye olde Scooby: My father had bought a 1st Gen Legacy (wagon, of course... manual "L" trim, if I remember, just like my current one), and gave it to my brother when he purchased my current '95 L wagon brand spankin' new. Well on January 4th this year (5 days before my 18th birthday) he passed away at the age of 72, which left me with the car that he and I essentially lived in since I was 5 (with 220,000 miles on the ticker, and more mechanical problems than I can count on one hand). Well I'm bringin' it back to its former glory, and moreso... I'm going to be starting a show/street tuning company with a friend of mine, and I plan to use my Legacy as our first demo car as well as my personal daily driver.
My pastimes include long, thoughtful posts by the beach, and making love to my throttle with Isaac Hayes in the CD player. I hope we can have a wonderful time together.
