i have been searching and calling many diff subie places, and no one can answer me. does anyone know the stock ej25 injector size on a 01 legacy gt? thanks.

well 99 2.2(cali) injectors are the same as the 00-01 2.5 (mt) injectors and the 2.2s are 185cc from my findings..

wow tiny. have you ever heard of putting 360cc injectors out of a sr20det would work?

hmm i know those nissan injectors fit in the ej33 w/ the nissan connectors for a fact. not sure if they fit in the ejs as a direct fit.

I think the BE's got topfeed injectors like the WRX's...try WRX injectors, they flow around 350cc-ish IIRC.

Don't think the Ez/Er engines will work...the 02-05 WRX's come with the light blue topfeeds, those are the 300cc one or so. Also the Ej22t injectors flow for around that much IIRC. The 06+ WRX come with the higher flowing 560cc injectors, now becoming a popular replacement for the famous STi "pinks" injectors.

I'm looking at the Subaru TSM and I'm not sure which injector the BE's have now...Subaru uses two kinds of injector design, one called the topfeed, other sidefeed; the WRX's use the topfeeds, the 04-05 STi's use the sidefeeds...the GC 2.5RS and BD Legacy use the sidefeeds too, but I have conflicting information about the BE's...

I vaguely remember checking my BE it sort of looks like the topfeeds, but I never got far enough into the project to warrant researching more into this.

the 02+ RS's got topfeed injectors too, which is why I had a feeling the BE's got topfeeds as well (sort of the "new generation" cars vs. the "old generation" cars of the 90's).

Anyway, the light blue wrx injectors can be had for pretty cheap (under $100 for a set), so if you're thinking of looking into upgrading injectors, staying within the Subaru family would be easier in terms of finding a suitable upgrade...
