Post up what you're using, and what for (DD, autox, ring racing etc) and how long for.

I'm looking at Exedy/Daikin OEM replacements or ACT "Street" packages.

When replacing the clutch & flywheel, what replacement parts are you buying ?

right now im useing a Spec stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel. its awsome, just takes some getting use to. its off or on no midd. if you get e spec you need to get sti mounts, ss clutch line, shifter bushing. the eng will jump like a virgin on prom night. this is my 3rd spec. 1 stage 3 on 180sx, 1 twin plate on 180sx, and now stage 3 on BE. its been on the BE for about 3weeks. i wanted to get a Cusco Super Single, because they are the best in my opinion. they blow the exedy and act out of the water.

ACT 14lb flywheel, ACT Stage 1 clutch, PDE sleeve kit to cut the chatter (it's also the throwout bearing). If you dont get the sleeve kit, get the normal throwout bearing.

Took a little getting used to but the car just wakes up with the lightened flywheel IMO. Highly recommended if you're already replacing the clutch anyway.

What's the PDE sleeve kit? I do want something to avoid the T/O bearing going off - currently my T/O is chirping when the clutch is out (neutral, idling).

Edit:
Is this the kit?

Yup, that's the one. The product does work as advertised. I can play with the clutch to roll the car and have no chatter at all.

Been on a Fidanza 9.5lb flywheel and stock clutch for over 70k miles now. Car is the DD, but it's been AutoXed, RallyXed, tracked, etc. The light flywheel is such an excellent mod.

Exedy replacement clutch, Fidanza f/wheel, #3 SS hose directly from the master to the slave. This setup is on my DD LGT wagon and I really like it.

I've got a Fidanza and this: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/price/M ... Mitsubishi (http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/price/Mitsubishi/1G_Eclipse-Talon/HorsepowerFreaks/Clutch/Clutch_Kits/part/Bronze_-_Mitsubishi) Horsepowerfreaks 6 puck disc with an ACT 2100 on my DSM track day/summer semi-DD car & this setup is a little trickier to drive but not at all unmanageable.

Unfortunately they don't seem to have a comparable disk for any Subaru app.s so that is of little help I suppose.
