IIRC, don't you need two kit's one for low beam/Projectors and one for the high beams ?

You can keep the high's halogen and just the lows as HID, if they run separate bulbs. It would be more cost effective that way IMO.

Yup that's my plan once I get the JDM Projectors that I'm looking for

no offense, but I run 8000K
I like'em - As they are warming up they are blue, but they turn white after it's warmed up

I'm doing the same.. I ordered a Xentec kit some time ago when i thought I was going to be getting another car (crappy Audi) so I have 3000K fogs in H7 in which Subaru has nothing in H7... anyways I ordered some replacement bulbs in H1 5000K So glad i did not get the 6000K version.. just with the bulbs running on my bed here they are very bright and very white with a light tint of blue.
My JDM projectors should be here next week or so... I already have the hole saw to drill them as well.

And for the color.. this is the best part... when anyone sees a factory HID system they are like WOWZ I want System!!1111 I'm going to order myself a 80000000000000K bulbs when I get home  anyways what you see is color shift.. most happens after 300 hours of use the higher the Kelvin the quicker the colorshift because it's already bluer to start with...

Dont be ricers, leave the colored lights for honda guys lol http://caribbean-style.net/forum/images/smilies/49.gif
Advice, HID - Lowbeams (Projector Bulbs)
Halogen (not bright white get the yellow, bright ones)
Reason: HID's + Rain dont mix
I am running 5100k (White) H1

what do you mean HID + rain don't mix? I will be sealing some weak spots that I notice.
Also did you do a mod to keep the low beams on with the high beams? all I really need to do is just wire in the High beams and I should be set..
I will do a video in a few with the bulbs haha I have everything but the headlights now.
I also plan on running Night breaker H3's in for the high beam they say it's a 90+ bulb.

*Hid's + Driving in the rain Dont mix, My bad.
My car is born in JDM land, it came with the projectors from the factory.
I skimmed though the JDM Projector writeup in the DIY section and i think someone figured out out to make them independent.
PS: edit the quote & minus the Pic's

it still does not make any sense.. many of cars come with factory HID headlights here does that mean they all hid indoors when it rains?
and I found how to make them stay on but I thought it might of been another way to do it.

They come HID's from factory but the high beams are halogen. Since lately a few manufactures have been producing Bi-Xenon
What i am saying is just put the HID on the low beams and Leave the halogen for highs you wont regret it in the rainy weather

Oh thats all you had to say.. you were making it seem like HID's for low beams were bad..
who in the hell would put an HID for a high beam anyways???
If you want brighter get the 55W kit... I find 35W is bright enough.

I thought thats what he meant too. When I had OEM HID's on my RSX it was like nothing I've ever seen before. The clarity for all weather conditions was amazing and if I was at the point where I couldn't see anything my Yellow High beams would come in very handy. BTW for good aftermarket lights(not HID) go with luminics(SP?) lights they shine real bright. They also outlast the shitty silvania silverstars by a mile!!!

I never got silver stars because they had a blue coating on it..
I think I will get the night breaker bulbs by Osram.
