im designing a car in school

i am designing a car...body only for now...an entire car by myself

it started as a spoiler...then i added a trunk which im still doing...then i thought, why not the rest of the car so yeah...help me with some info to make it look good


2 or 4 doors?

width?

length?

its supposed to have a custom sport look, reason for an aftermarket spoiler that i designed too.

ill have pics of my progress along the way starting monday.

and no newer car look either...'96-'02 looks are what im going for...olders too boxy and newers too dumb looking (sorry people its just my opinion) i dont like any of the newer cars...H2s are better then H3s id take my gt over an 07 anyday

my designs probably going to have WRX, STI, and GT features but still different...im designing in AutoCAD 2008...again CRAP it has more bugs then any other ive worked with

drew a prototype last night on paper...4 door its going to take a loooooong time till its done so im looking for AutoCAD on ebay to put on my computer so i can work during the summer.

Is this being drawn at 1:1 scale on your computer? Where's the pics of the spoiler? Make the car what you want it to be. Big difference between 2 and 4 doors, why spend a bunch of time on something that's not from your idea anyway.

I'm going to be doing some design work this summer too. I hope to design a tube framed rock crawler or HPV tricycle to help pad my CAD portfolio, but this will be done on ProEngineer.

yeah 1:1 scale on the computer but im making it out of plastic on some smaller scale. I do not have the pic because my CAD program is on the schools computer...i go to a vocational school for CAD. I just wanted some ideas but i drew a proto up of it last night
