Snout Problem didnt wanna post in sticky thread

Ok I knew my clutch was shot when I bought my 95 L. No I had some oil leaks and what not so decided to pull motor and do it all at once. I pulled motor today, clutch was down to almost rivets in some spots. but first thing I looked for was the notorious snout problem. I dont have any grooves in mine but I do have a small ridge up close to the fork. I am attaching a pic but my camear is bad for close ups so I put arrows in to kinda point where it is. Now my clutch wont be here till this friday so I was wondering do I need the snout fixer sleeve?

Well I dont really know if I need it or not, id rather not spend the cash unless I have too, anyone have any thoughts on what I described?

What year is your car, what engine, and is your clutch cable or hydraulic operated?

Cable operated clutches don't have the snout problem, it's a hydraulic clutch issue.

PWT - from the first post, it's a 95 L, so it's a 2.2L.
