^^^ I like. though I might toy around with the positioning of the Legacies (i.e. - slightly smaller, all 4 below?), add "Subaru Legacy International" underneath SLi so you don't get repeated questions about "Why isn't that an STi on your shirt?", and I would shade the BE's headlights so it matched the rest.




And make it not pink. :wink:

Stagger the cars on top of eachother so they look like they're parked next to one another, not just floating in space. There's one shirt I'm waiting to get. If you search rally, there's a shirt with an impreza jumping in the air and it says "iRally"

No offense.. but that black shirt with the pink square pic on it.. no way man. You need to get rid of the square box.. it looks... horrible. From a designers perspective.. i would almost say atrocious. Not trying to be rude. If you converted the color of the cars to pink and got rid of the box in pink, you would be in the go'. But otherwise.. looks like someone ripped a picture offline and had it printed on a cheap tshirt. The graphic itself is great.. its just the giant box and positioning of the cars for a tshirt that is ruining it.

Hell, it would look even better if you just had 2 of the cars facing eachother, or maybe even just 1.. so every year model could have its own tshirt. Then to break up the background.. put some pink colors splashes / graffiti in there.. and you got yourself a bangin tshirt!

If anyone wants to send me the illustrator files or whatever (i could prolly just copy them as fast off the pic), then i could do up a couple of bomb tshirts. LMK.

I think its kinda bland. The reason i used the pink square is so it can work with any color shirt.

I agree with digiphux, half the shirts on cafepress are atrocious because it looks like the image is just being stamped off a piece of paper (background and all) onto a shirt. Here's a proper looking shirt:

I like this. To make it work on other colors, just chance the color (black in this pic) of the Legacies.

I could do without the leggy silhouettes, just have the 'LEGACY' badge from a BD/BG where the sli is, the other subaru saying under that, and then do the SLi bit on the back.

or if there must be a leggy, just do one. make it more simple and most goodest. which leggy? a BE of course :grin:

i think on the back the SLI logo with subaru legacy international under it in pink, put that top mid on back of shirt. for diff front i think the models should be just one generaton at a time with the sedan and wagon. i.e. BE/BH on the shirt just that. under that say "legacy the only subaru"

This would look great if there was only one legacy on the shirt. So whichever generation you wanted you could have. I would also move the SLi logo to the back, right under the collar in the center of the shirt. As for what else to put on the front :?:

Could prolly do that easy enough. I dont know about the SLI logo being on the back.. but.. maybe they can do a print on the sleeve? Or.. you could leave a print out of the graff / splash background that has the SLI logo and such. I'm going to play around with it a bit more once i get my vectorized SLI logo that i have at home. Also.. if you guys like this, if I can actually get a hold of the vector files for each of the cars.. i could make much higher quality prints.

Could also make it so it doesnt say 'SLI' or anything, but rather just the code from the car.. aka BD, BC.. etc. But.. i might feel sorry for the poor saps who get stuck with BJ! :lol:

These were just done up quick.. so I might add more elements to them later as well. I wonder how color proofing and shit is done with cafepress or whatever, and what the brightest level of color allowed for the pink would be?

Nobody's ever gonna be happy. Everyone should post your best stuff here. Then, we have a vote thread that narrows it to the top 5, and then the top 2 or 3. Then, submit those to CafePress. :razz:

Also, remember.. the two pics above are just to show what the design looks like. since there is no background.. whatever tshirt they are placed on will take the 'background color'. Like the pics above are on solid white, and solid black.. so they may look diff on diff background shades.

yo.. good call on that, that might look sorta cool.. tire tracks or something.. i'll try it out and see what i can come up with! Do you think it looks cool with the sli logo in that way? Basically when they print it on the shirt.. it wont be a black logo.. but rather a 'missing piece' of the background that makes up the logo.. so it wont be a different color than the shirt.. which i think is cool. Might only work with the black shirts however... if your shirt was ugly ass green.. might make it look weird! haha.

I don't think you need a logo on the chest when the entire glob/splash has logo's in it. I like the look of the splash with the logos cut out, and actually prefer it prior to the mud trails.

I almost think that if you to simply make a universal "SLI" logoed shirt it would be a solid idea. With all the various models and generation outlines, the board might find that its too costly to X number of prints for each one. Also some of the things I've seen is that even if you have a shirt that has a massive sli logo on it, you can better rep the site by maybe put sl-i.net somewhere else like the sleeve or get craftly like in dicent size print on the lower half of the back of the shirt. I love to see the sli logo with that ILL drippy stencil/graffiti look and big tooo!!!
