OK, dumb question of the night alert, but is the Stromung axle-back a bolt on? I called Teague's and they said "Yes, absolutely." I still can't get it through my thick skull though that the gaskets on the Stromung look waaay bigger than the stock exhaust.
Can you guys confirm?

I have a header back stromung system. It sounds so good. I'm not sure. I would just get the midpipe too. I know it's expemsive but it's worth it. I have headers, high folw cat and cat back exhaust. My car sounds like a WRX.

Unfortunately, the Stromung midpipe is no longer available, otherwise I would have.
I'll build the whole system...someday.

Don't get me wrong, that's in the plans! But for now I need to know if this sucker will bolt up!

When I talked to Teague's is when I found that out. They stopped making mid-pipes for the BE four months ago.
Along with that he said it bolted right up but I need one of my SLI brothas to confirm!

yes, it bolts up no prob. i didn't have funds for both midpipe and catback when i bought, so got the catback then midpipe. it was a breeze and sounds amazing.
sorry to treadjack
stromung for imreza RS is it the same for our BD can you just slap it in without any mod?

axleback is the same, aside from which tip u choose. it is the midpipe that changes lengths.

i disagree with the rs and bd muffler being the same. it will bolt up and sit in the right place but the two rear hangers are in different locations.
thanks guys for the reply i forgot to mention its off 99 RS.
not sure if theres any difference on 02 and up RS if there is any. :)
