My digital climate keeps saying its -25 outside?

My climate control keeps saying its -25 degrees outside, which it isnt of course. doesnt do it all the time, just sometimes but when it does it screws the climate up and it starts blowing warm air into the car when it shouldnt. Ive checked the connection to the sensor (assuming that its the thing behind the grille) but still does it sometimes. Any ideas?

Is it F or C?

You could disconnect the battery to see if that resets it.

Its centigrade (or celsius, whatever its called now). Yeah I wondered if there was a method of resetting it? I used to have a similar system in a cosworth and there was a sequence of buttons you had to press to reset that one.
