I love subaru's =[ - but my experience with my BD is driving me nuts, haha
As soon as I got the car the brake lines blew in the back. replaced those.
Passenger Front caliper seized a month later, took care of that.
Now 2 months after that, Driver Front caliper seized and took care of that. The Driver Rear seized so badly the pads are gone and its caliper to rotor action right now, grinding all the time :-(
I have to replace both rear calipers to be safe, replace both rear rotors [will have to do the fronts too but $$$!!!!] and then get pads all around. woe is me.
Question[s] - If i want to replace the calipers in the back, do i need to buy calipers with the mounting brackets so its just a swap, or can i just get the caliper section and keep the old mounting bracket? I'm not sure if they disconnect from each other that easily which is why I bring up the inquiry. Also. with the ABS with my BD, will swapping out to new Brembo blanks cause concern. I read for other rotors a specification about "ABS Ring/Placing" If i remove the worn rotors will there be anything that I need to transfer?
anddddddd as far as pads go, I wanted to try Hawk HPS pads but with the pricing, would i be better suited to just get a cheaper pair from a local Auto Store?
 stupid problems man...my headlight with broken mounts is still being held in by a twig.
