I jsut got new front rotors, should I get new pads? Its probably not quite time to change them but theyre definitly not new. My current set of rotors are very warped.

I would get new pads to make sure the surfaces mate together a lot better. I've always seen the pads and rotors replaced at the same time if the rotors are getting the boot, but I don't know if it's required.

Yes, you should always replace your pads when doing rotors.

You should always at least turn your rotors when replacing your pads, also.

EBC are poos.
Mintex get good reviews, Carbotech also.

I picked up a set of rotors & kevlar metallic pads from ebay (front & rear) for $170 shipped from Canada...

Still have yet to chuck them on. Waiting for the front ones to wear out...though I should probably do it before winter.

It's the time of year to start thinking about winter.
Get your cars ready for the snow and salt. (at least up here)
(maybe not quite yet, but soon, very soon!)

word on the street is that the ceramic ebc pads are pretty good.

I've got some axxis ulimates- after burning the crap out of them once (plumes of black smoke) they have been pretty decent pads, although they dust more than some.

Maybe Greenstuff compounds have changed...but those had horrible fade, not much better than stock.

alll i know is that when i installed my brembo slotted rotors with ebc green pads i was warping the otors every 2 weeks, and i have all new calipers and hardware, those ebc pads are two hard, iu switched to the hawk carbon tech and not a problem since.
