Im actually quite pleased with this. its a bit rough on the edges when you get it but nothing some sandpaper wont fix. Fit in perfectly as well.

Considering this speedo is front lit, I would think having a reflective material in there would be bad for night vision...

I could be wrong, maybe yours isn't, but I'm assuming it is, because I know mine is :shrug:

My EJ25 only revs up to 6200 rpms also.

Paint it. The aluminum look goofy. It is cool though. Persoanlly I dont think I would do it because stock on my car it has a kind of carbon fiber look.
