Ok, quick question for you. I want to clean the engine bay, and I've only cleaned carbureted engine bays. So, what electrical components need to get covered before spraying it down? I imagine the area around the MAF, the coil pack up top, the alternator(?). Here's a of Mark's engine bay, since he's got the same motor and I can't find pics of my engine bay. If the coil pack needs to get covered, just put a circle over the manifold cover.

cover up your intake (if you don't have a snorkusectomy) and if you want to be extra cautious, you can remove the battery.
Then Spray away...that's what I did.
Just make sure you give it plenty of time to dry, so belts and electrical don't screw up...

I'm installing my ground kit this week, and when I post pics, I don't want to be ashamed... I need to use a degreaser as well. I don't think this thing has been cleaned since it was made.
And while we're on the topic of cleaning. How about removing paint for better ground points? Whats the best technique there? Dremel, brush, or other?

I used a dremel with a moderate grit sandpaper bit. It worked quite well...just waterproof the stuff afterwards to avoid rust (silicone spray works good)
