Hey guys whats up. I've been wanting to get an AWD car ever since I have been riding around in my buddies 08 EVO X(Awesome to say the least). Anyway I really loved the grip and being an Avid Acura Integra/RSX driver I decided that my 225k rs Integra has seen better days so 2 days ago I went to a local dealer in Villa Park and picked me up a 1996 Subaru Legacy L AWD. The car runs better than my 04 RSX did when I first got it. The car just got the timing belt replaced at 158k(current) I think I got it for a good price 2800 OTD. The exterior is in mint condition minus the little rock chips here and there but all in all great condition for a 12yr old car. It has no rust that I've seen yet. The interior has it blemishes as well like on the door it's kinda bubbling and wearing away. The climate control lights don't work so I replaced those with just plain old white LED's today cost me a whopping $10 for 10. I still have alot of cleaning to do to the car. I only had enough time today to wax the front witch I was pissed at because thats a half assed job IMO. Next items on my list to replace is the rear wiper motor, Headlights(hopefully some JDM ones) and the cassette radio to a CD/MP3/WMA/AUX/AMP sony unit or something to atleast get me by. Other than those little issues the car is great. I have so much fun in it. I can't wait for winter with some bridgestone blizzaks  . I have yet to have the car spin the wheels off the lights even in rain with ok tires. In my Acura I would prey for it but to no avail! Anyway enough talking I will get some pics up as soon as possible and hope to see you guys around more.

anyone know where I can get parts for cheap for my car? I have no cover/carpet for the trunk. Also need a new Drivers side headlight. Thats about all I think I need.

Hello there and welcome! It may not be as quick as your old 'teg, but the 95-99 legacy body is sure good lookin' and ripe for modding.

Oh it is way better than my Integra. The teg was handed down when I got my finace an SUV about 6 months ago. I drive alot for work and have had 5 Integras including 1 RSX(Miss You:cry:) so I know that they last a long time. Every one minus the RSX had well over 170k on them. The teg that I just left behind was a 94 RS Automatic(so slow and the tranny is starting to finally slip) it has 225k on it and runs rough seems like only on 3 cylinders. So in that sense it seems slower than the Scoobie! One other plus is that I have to carry ladders and other stuff with me to each jobsite. The latter I have is pretty tall and makes the passenger seat have to go all the way up. Yes I carry alot of stuff in my teg so with this Wagon I will be able to have more room all around. One last problem with the teg I put $45 in the tank thats about 12gallons and I get a max of about 250 to the tank without heavy stuff in the car and 200 to the tank with stuff in the car. So as you read you will see that the car is really an all around better car. Plus with the winter AWD will help me out a little more once I get some Brigestone Blizzaks on there.
