18x8.5 et48 225/40R18 on a lowered BE?

I have a BE on H&R Springs and Stock Struts (Will be getting GR2s eventually.)

I want SVNs in 18", but theyre only available in 8.5"

Could I run a 18x8.5" (48 offset) with a 225/40R18 Falken RT615 tire? Will it clear the spring perch?

My first thought is yes. This wheel is 18mm further in towards the spring perch. It'll be close, but should clear. On the outside you have nothing to worry about as BE's have nice sized fenders.

yeah, my 8.5 +35s clear by more than 13mm so you should be good
