Has anyone ever heard of Sport Edition rims? I saw them on tire rack but never heard of them, they have a 17" x 7.5" that seems like a good idea. thoughts?
A friend had some of them years ago that I tried to put on my BJ, but the offset wasn't right and they rubbed.
Decent wheels, but I'd probably look at Rota before Sport Edition, to be honest.

Yeah, the Sport Edition wheels aren't exactly lightweight, either. Get some SSR Comps or Gram Lights or something like that ifyou want lighter wheels...
Personally, i'm saving up for a set of STi BBS takeoffs.

The ones I was looking at were the Sport Edition CD rims:
17" x 7.5" +48 offset
Which is exactly what I need, they weigh around 21 lbs at that size. Any additional thoughts?

Sport edition wheels are made for SEARS.
they are decent, pretty cheap, but most of them look strong. Some of them weigh a LOT though, but 21 lbs ist Terrible... not light though. RS wheels weigh about 17lbs for example

If I were getting 20lb wheels I would get something OEM...like B4 wheels or UK 17s.

if you can get them on sale, go for it.
They're great winter wheels.
