My driver's side Rev A. HID headlight on my BE looses it's blue hue common with HID lights, this happens after a few seconds, meanwhile the passenger side has no issues. It kinda ends up looking like a non HID light. Any thoughts, does it need a new bulb, do HID bulbs behave that way when they are starting to die, or would it be a Ballast issue.

www.hidplanet.com (http://www.hidplanet.com) might be of some help here, because I know nothing about HIDs.

Turns out it was the bulb, swapped the one from my old set and all is good.
Unlike my other pair that have been corrected for left hand driving , these have not and I must say, it's not so bad. I parked my car on the street with the lights on and drove my other car from a distance, toward it and at a certain distance there is no impact at all, as you get closer there is some glare, but no worse than from some of those high end cars. Not bad.
