Here's something my Impreza did ONCE...

And I cringed through the paint dings... never again with a nice car.

I was knocking little stones out of the underside for WEEKS afterward.
But at least I can say I used the dual ratio gearbox offroad...

all the little scratchs i have were worth the fun i had. once i get my beater we are going to do this again. maybe this time the fat hick wont come tell us to leave.

i just dont think doing axis spins in gravel is a very good idea... but mud is fun.. plus its more fun when you do it with a beater. and start rallyiing on some logging trails  you just cant carry about your front bumper. espacily went you run it over

haha Beerman is actually my last name

and i don't mind doing this to much with my car, the mud flaps i have keep the rocks off the sides, i just get dirty going through the mud and puddles, these are my rally rims too, i have RS ones for daily driving.

yeah, that's why all the rallycrossers air up their tires to 40psi at least

Rockblocker ftw btw... my entire front bumper is covered in it.

I need to buy more to get the lower sills to catch whatever the truck flaps don't get

haha awesome. The JDM tails look great Mr. Beerman. I still can't get over the awesomeness that is your license plate.

this reminds me of the good old days. i use to rally the piss out of my wagon . hell i even jumped one time. logging roads are good . after lowering and the idea of trying to make my car look ok i stopped rallying.

well eveery once and awhile i hit my favorite litle strech along the rail road or a gravel pit .

Hey mrp, that's a great color for those wheels (though I'm not keep on the orange center caps). Would you mind sharing what you used to paint them?

nobody likes my center caps

but i just used Bronze Dupicolor Wheel Paint that you can buy at any Auto Parts Store for about 6 bucks, took me an afternoon to do all 4, sanded down the silver with #150, then #220, used a BLACK primer (different primers may get different final colors) and put on 2 wet coats, then one final light coat, with just about 10-15 minutes in between. be sure to jam some index cards in the bead around the wheel so no paint gets on the tire! after a half hour i went over them with the same brand of Wheel Clearcoat and did 2 coats!
turned out very well and holds up on the road, but not that well offroad, for obvious reasons! 1 can did all 4 snowflakes.

Anyone who's got the guts to go rallying with a Legacy gets a nod in my book. Thanks for making BDs look good off-road.

I like the center caps. And the off-road lights (or what's left of them) look great on the car. Later!

i bottomed my old car (96 accent) out many times giong offroad and i jumped it a couple times lol

im tryin to get mudflaps for my legacy but i need to save for them (sparco mud flaps are only like $25)

i got my mud flaps for free! idk how they compare quality wise to the sparcos though. they've held up well for me and work great!

i just went to my local 4x4 truck shop and asked if they had any extra material from the superflaps that they put on the big trucks, sure enough they did! the scraps they had were 11x24" so i just took 2, cut em in half, and put them on with some self taps! took about an hour!

idk custom-making ones doesnt seem like too bad of an idea

btw do you have offroad lights behind your grille???

ive never seen that before...does it make a difference?

mrpyb

i'll see what i can do about the mudflaps GT

and as for having the lights behind the grille i would say it is a negligible difference in light output, i've had them with the grille on and off and you can only tell a difference when you're up close to something.
i love em there!
