Im on H&R (BH) Springs. Its low, but I'd like it lower. Maybe 3/4" up front, 1" out back.

The only option I see right now is Tein Flex coilovers for $1500+. I dont have the funds for that..I had money for either wheels or coilovers, and I chose wheels.

Any way I can achieve what I want for less?

EDIT: And no, I WILL NOT CUT MY SPRINGS!

Find some JDM springs. I bet the TEIN S-Techs will go lower.

can always take a torch to them and heat them up. thats what old school modders use to do back in the day. or just have some fat bitchs ride in your car all the time. i think DOOK is selling his flex's(forgot price). at least your BE dont have saggy butt syndrome like mine.

Ok so I contact Ground Control to see if they can throw together a kit for me.

Lets see what they say

I had SYMS lowering springs I sold to someone here a few months back.

Those lowered the car something like 1.75" on the front and 1.5" in the rear...

I don't think the S-techs are made for the BH's though. WRX struts on the S-techs was a pretty harsh ride, and I was grinding my front fender liners into a pulp with the tires. It did look pretty killer though, but not worth it.

Ground controls are probably your best bet. Have you looked into Megan Racing's coilovers? I bet they're cheaper than the Tien's.

Ground Control DOES NOT have an application for BHs according to a rep I talked to.

If I want to stay with Ground Control I'd have to figure out what's similar and make it fit.

Any other Subies have similar suspension I could possibly use the kit off of?

BP/BL and the new 08 WRX/STi have multi-link rears, but the geometry and physical sizing is different.

Megan Racing makes a kit for the Baja. It's essentially the same suspension as a BH wagon. I'm actually buying said kit, and would be happy to take pics of my stock peices and the MR peices.

The front struts most likely can use the same coilover setup as other subarus...rear setup, look into a miata (yes miata) front suspension for GC - they use a very similar strut design...you'll need to get different springrates and different spring length than whatever they give for those applications of course. The important part is to get the right sized sleeve to fit the body.

How low will the Megan Baja kits get me?

Theres a good chance I will be stuck with my ride height due to the size and offset of the wheels Im getting, but I wont know for sure for 8-10 weeks.

EDIT: Im finding the Megan Kits for 05+ Bajas for around $850. Are these the ones I want? ♦

Yes. Keep in mind the baja coilovers use a longer strut body than what a regular legacy coilover would use though...I think it's a couple of inches longer...

Darn if its a couple inches longer that completely negates the purpose of getting them. Getting a shorter Eibach spring would only blow the struts out faster.

And..teaser of the wheels Im stuffing under there..

Nope.

Lots of concave on the wheels..very aggressive fitment.
