I'm not too happy with the Tarmac III's on my BE, and I've driven myself crazy trying to figure out what would be the right wheel for me. They were a short notice purchase as I found out the 3.0R's didn't clear Brembo's with the car all done on a lift @ ECS.
I deeply miss them on there, but that's out of the question w/ the Brembo's installed unless 1) I downgrade to '06 WRX 4/2pots which I don't want to do, or 2) install 15mm worth of spacer on each hub, which means $300ish for each hub to be taken apart, install the longer stud w/ new wheel bearings only to die a short life most likely.
So post up a wheel that will clear a brembo, be 5x100 and available in 18".
That's not asking too much is it?
Have at it folks!

its' not a matter of what wheel looks good first, it's what fits over your Brembos above all else...

I had looked through that and couldn't find one I liked. I poked around iwsti.com but they're mostly 5x114.3's over there.

My contributions, some are really really pricey though:

Fikse makes great wheels, and are avaliable in custom sizing I believe. I like the FM/10 wheels personally. Quite pricey.
Off tire rack:
BBS RE - $770/wheel
Enkei RPF1 - $285/wheel
OZ Crono HT - $349/wheel
SSR Competition - $399/wheel
SSR GT7-H - $299 or $399/wheel depending on color
TR Motorsport MT1 (made by Enkei for Tire Rack) - $299/wheel
Volk CE28N Time Attack - $644/wheel
WedsSport SA-70 - $229/wheel
Those are all the wheels I like.
Luck!

i got some 17's that go over--JDM v7's.
I'm looking to go to a larger wheel for autox--18x8's.
The tires on mine are legal, but worn a little retarded. PM me if you'd be interested in a trade. We can work out specifics if you're interested. If not, happy hunting. :-)

Paint your own, cracka!!!
I painted my tarmac 2's last October and I think they look effin' sweet.
Of course, I've curbed each one cause I don't know how to drive, but that's another topic all together.
Paint those bitches a real dark bronze and you'll be dead sexy. I ended going a weird steel gray, almost gunmetal, and they look sweeeeeet!!!
