Fitment is 00-02 RS, with MAP intake, so this would "probably" work with a BE/BH that has a Baja turbo hood or JDM hood.

This is one of about 40 Gravelsports intakes in existence, and likely the last one sold. I got lucky, now's your chance.

It is powder coated Vulcan Black, but there are a few places where the scoop bolts scraped off the powder coating. Unfortunately, I didn't foresee this happening, but you can touch it up or re-powder coat the filter ring and make sure your bolts don't rub by grinding off the tips.

It comes with a K&N filter which has been well maintained. The top center of the filter is a little chewed up from another scoop bolt, but the filter is still perfectly intact, clean, and oiled.

I had it on my car for 4 yrs straight (minus time off for CA SMOG checks) and have had no problems. Reason for selling? Complete STi swap from GT - whoohoo!

Please note: this intake is loud at WOT. If you don't mind making a little noise, it sounds great and beats using your horn. LOL

The price is $325 shipped FIRM, which is a reasonable price considering I paid $300 for it new with bare metal and no K&N.

PM me, explaining why you should be the lucky one. The first person to put $325 in my paypal acct gets it!

Crapnuts. It's sold already.

I'll leave the post up as it might be useful to someone who is looking at intake options.

ll right I have a question, I tried to take the pipe right from my "torque box" so it was just the filter box, and i lost all my low end torque like all of it, it would bog down so much from the line , so when i put in the new metal tube, right to factory ram air thing on the front on top of the radiator, i got it all back.. so my question is how did they solve that ??? does anyone have one that they could speak from personal knowledge.

Ok I hosted the pics on my photobucket, but you can see how the piping routes:

The intake itself sits higher than the throttle body and is designed to fit inside the RS/OBS scoop (GC/GM chassis). The air then flows out the side, and under the box into the intake manifold. This is quite different.

what about water getting into it. Wouldn't it hydrolock?

that is sweet anyone know if this will work with the 95-99 2.2l? I was thinking of getting a GT hood with the scoop so this intake would be best for me if it works.

This is a MAP only intake. It will not work with a MAF-based car.

ok still what about the low end torque loss , i think there would be no low end torque, you could even say the "ram air" from the scoop would off set the torque loss becuase you would need to be going at least 60 mph to get suffcient flow to even make a difference>>> right?

i can see many things wrong with this. its it makes the intake short runner, so the fuel might not adamize the max. water vapor getting sucked it to the intake (mostly on rainy days and road mist), might have a bad effect on vaccum (might lower it, might cause some problems?)

Water misting isn't a bad thing. It makes the air cooler, which results in a denser charge, which equals more power.

yeah but water, air and gasoline doesnt really mix well. plus a damp/wet filter. say hello rust!

You only have to worry about that if you are using a dry filter whereas an oiled filter will have less if not no chance of rusting.

wouldn't this be a big issue in places where it rains a lot? doesn't seem to have any protection from a bunch of water going right down into the manifold. if i were to have something like this on my car here in WA, no doubt it would hydrolock!

they had a big problem with those snorkel things for jeeps and other makes making cylinder walls rust and air/fuel tuning because rain would built up in the intake any just sit in the combustion chamber in oil and dry filters
