I am embarassed to say i dont understand compression ratios and all that good stuff :-(

Are they interchangeable in regards to Turbo and non turbo or it does not matter?

Is their any advantage of changing one from stock?

I know they have 2 types maybe more i am not sure 272 and 280 which one would be better for a 2.0 Na?

I was hoping those upgrade would give me some low end power and tq.

My plans,
Upgrade Pulleys to light weight,
TB Spacer
and hopefully upgrade cams + Gears
Upgrade exhaust from headers back
Upgrade Mounts,

I cannot find any High Comp Pistons so i wont put that on the list.
Stock Comp Ratios i believe is 9 for my car or somewhere around their, everyone i find drops the compression to 8 or so, for n/a higher is better right? (think i may have answered one of my own questions)

Sorry for the exam but i was hoping one of you gurus would be able to help me lol

Ummmmm... Where to start.

Your compression ratio should be somewhere north of 9.7:1 on an NA car.

You could swap cams, but there would be a performance deterioration because you are NA. Turbo cams work great with turbo cars, but not with NA cars.

You can get spicy aftermarket NA cams that would make your car fastar.

And You should be able to buy JE or whatever forged pistons in any compression ratio you want, up to like 12:1.

if you're building an NA car, remember however your compression does reach a limit on what you can run because of the octane in pump gas... anything above 12:1 or so should really have C17.

11.2:1 compression will run on 91 octane. but then i dont know what octane rates they have were you live.

93 is the highest, So it would be worth while just to change pistons and leave the cams right?

idk what kind of gains you want? but high comps pistons and mild upgrade cams together will give some good allaround power. you going to stay at the stock bore or go 2mm+ or 5mm+

nah i wont go as far as to bore it, My aim is to get more low end response. A decent midrange tq would be a huge bonus

i'd go with piston and cams for a descent gain in low end and mid
