So I finally sold my car last night. The amazing part of the story is where its going. I delivered it to a port in new jersey yesterday. So where is my car going?......

The most popular answer did win out in the end with dodik giving the exactly correct explanation. The key here was that I delivered it to a Port in Jersey. So on to the explanation of why it can't be the others:

Alaska - Popular choice because cars do get shipped there on boats but from the WEST coast. I am on the EAST coast so it would first go by trailer and then boat. :wink:

Alaska makes the most sense to me.

NZ, The UK, Virgin Islands and possibly Belarus all drive on the right hand side. I can't see someone importing a LHD USDM car w. JDM mods to there neck of the woods. NY is decently close to Canada so I wouldn't see the need to ship.

I had a feeling that unintentionally ws gonna throw someone off. Well the buyer was in the US looking for a car for a relative over there. Sent him pics, relative agreed. Payed in cash upfront, rest was history. An interesting thing to note is that US cars over there count from the date manufactured. My 03 was made in oct of 02 so over there it counts as an 02 subaru.
